What is mini-mace?
mini-mace (yes, all lower-case), is a small game day event we host at least once a year that we like to hold in an eating establishment that usually serves a buffet. Our goal is to supply the two things gamers like the most - good gaming and good food.
What is JustUs Productions?
JustUs Productions, the business organization behind MACE and mini-mace, is a company born of a love of a hobby. It is a business owned by Jeff and Karen Smith.
What is MACE?
Mid-Atlantic Convention Expo, (MACE) is the largest gaming convention in the Carolinas. Originally called ROC 96.5, MACE was created after the parent convention ROC of Ages went out of business. It started in High Point and has been held there ever since. But, MACE was not just an idea by Jeff, it developed into the con that it is, by loyal gamers who are still playing at the con today. In 2006, we celebrated our 10th anniversary, proudly bringing the best gaming the Carolinas has to offer in one place.

How do I get in free as a GM?
Unfortunately, you can not get in free to mini-mace. Because we still have to pay for the food you eat, we can not feasibly make arrangements with the location to make it cost effective.
But you can get a discount. If you run more then one session, you get a $5 discount from the preregistration price.
What is the mini-mace Game Slot Schedule?
The mini-mace Standard Game Slot Schedule is below, however, we allow for flexible schedule in and around the standard slots, like 2, 3 and 5 hour slots, at special request by the GM. Special Events can run longer.
See below for the basic schedule.
- Registration opens 8:00 am
- First game slot:9 AM - 1 PM
- Second Game Slot: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
- Third Game Slot: 6 PM - 10 PM
These slots are based on the basic RPG time slot. Some special event RPGs, Board Games, War Games, and miniature games as well as special events will have a much more flexible schedule.
