MACE West 2022: Official GM Call!

MACE West 2022

March 11-13, 2022

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Asheville – Biltmore

Asheville, NC

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL GM CALL FOR MACE WEST 2022!!

This is going to be a very special MACE West and I hope everyone that has supported us in the past will return. Please see the news here for why this is a special year. Please bring all the love and support you have in the past as we come together as a family for one of our own.

As for COVID protocols, we will abode buy whatever state and local guidelines are in place when March rolls around.

We are working on both PFS and D&D AL for MACE West. We have coordinators for both and we will send out contact information for both once we have nailed down the specifics.

For those that wish to propose scheduled events for MACE West – RPGs, board games, cards games and the like – the best way to do that is through OGRe.   Go to ogre.justusproductions.com. Log in (Make an account if you don’t have one. If you were a GM for us at any point in time since 2006, you more than likely have an account.). Click Propose Event on the left menu.

Three 4-hour sessions or 12 hours of gaming gets you in free, with fewer getting you a discount. See our discount policy on our web site at justusproductions.com for information on the discounts.

If you prefer to email us, please include as much information about your event as possible. It is sort of a hassle to go back and forth with questions with so many GMs. Include game name and any link that will explain the game and/or provide the description, especially if it is a obscure game. Also include schedule preferences keeping in mind our standard 4 hr slot schedule (although you are not limited to that schedule).

Contact if you have any questions.

The Future of JustUs & MACE

Dear MACE Family

These last 25 years have been fantastic. I never thought the convention would have lasted this long. We held on during 2020 with a small event and then returned in 2021 celebrating the 25th with over 500 in attendance. I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done these past many years. I am glad we finished this year with such a great weekend because I have some news to share.

I was diagnosed with Liver Cancer on Dec. 9th. I am not sure what will happen or where I will be in a year. I start immunotherapy on Jan 3rd and will continue this course of treatment every 3 weeks for the next 3 months. With luck, hope, prayer, science, skill and a miracle I will see this thing through.

We are planning on doing MACE West in March. Now I do not know what is going to happen with Covid, so things could change over the next many weeks.

I will be in touch with the Club MACE group as I find out more on refunds, insurance and other questions we have.

As far as MACE goes, for now it is on hold for 2022. I am not sure if we will have one this year or not. A lot is dependent on how the treatments go.

I ask for your thoughts and prayers as Karen, the boys and I go through this.
