The System is Dresden Files Fate Accelerated. This is a continuation of a local Greensboro LARP. Magic is real. Some people whisper that beat cop is a werewolf. And everyone knows the vigilante Cypher is a vampire. Life in Gate City has always been complicated, and when you move there… you may not want to leave. DFA: Gate City is a Live-Action Roleplay set in the world of Jim Butcher’s Harry Dresden novels. We use the Dresden Files Accelerated rule set, a lightweight and narrative version of FATE that is both easy to learn and very flexible. Set in a fictionalized version of Greensboro, the game meets twice monthly. Dresden Files @ ConCarolinas! Flocks of sparrows have fallen from the sky. Packs of stray dogs congregate in Freedom and howl at the moon. And those who can touch the actual forces of magic know something is coming. Become one of the Fae courts, a vampire, a wizard, or a mortal in the know. Find out what’s coming. Save the day. Be the hero you know you are!
