Havok & Hijinks Tournament

MACE 2015 is proud to host a Havok & Hijinks™ tournament Saturday afternoon hosted by the creators of the game. Havok & Hijinks™ is a kickstarted game from Adam “Ferrel” Trzonkowski and his team at Epic Slant Games.  Havok & Hijinks™ is a family-friendly, light strategy card game featuring cute, humorous dragons competing for treasure.

Do you have what it takes to build the best treasure hoard? Why don’t we find out! Join us for the Havok & Hijinks Hoarding Tournament. Players will take on the role of young dragons amasing their first treasure hoard and compete to see who can build the largest! All players will receive a special crystal dragon card. The winner will receive a Kickstarter copy of the game and some additional Havok & Hijinks swag. They will also be running demos of their new expansion.

About Havok & Hijinks™

You’re a young, underachieving dragon that never paid much attention to your parents or the elders. That is unfortunate because you’ve just found yourself kicked out of the nest! It seems that your folks are tired of you eyeing their hoard and want you to build your own.

To make matters worse, the parents of your friends heard about what happened.  They all agreed it was a great idea and kicked your friends out, too! Now you’re out in the world of Vallhyn and have to compete with other young dragons to be the first to build a respectable treasure hoard… even if you have to prank them to get there.

Ages: 13+

Players 2-4

Play Time: 15-30 minutes

About Dungeon Crawl Classics

Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) is a series of roleplaying adventure modules published by Goodman Games, most of which use the d20 open gaming license. It includes more than 73 adventures, and features celebrated game designers such as Michael Mearls, Dave Arneson, and Monte Cook, as well as classic TSR artists like Jeff Dee, Erol Otus, Jim Roslof, and Jim Holloway. The DCC series harkens back to classic 1st edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons modules in content and style.

The series’ design ethos is summed up by the following statement that is included in every DCC:

Remember the good old days, when adventures were underground, NPCs were there to be killed, and the finale of every dungeon was the dragon on the 20th level? Those days are back. Dungeon Crawl Classics don’t waste your time with long-winded speeches, weird campaign settings, or NPCs who aren’t meant to be killed. Each adventure is 100% good, solid dungeon crawl, with the monsters you know, the traps you fear, and the secret doors you know are there somewhere.
