MACE West 2020: Official GM Call!
MACE West 2020
February 28 – March 1, 2019
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Asheville – Biltmore
THIS IS THE OFFICIAL GM CALL FOR MACE WEST 2020!!
Many of our regular events are returning. If that has changed, I hope those responsible for coordinating those get to me as soon as possible. For Pathfinder Society (PFS) GMs, work with Mike Tracey. We’ll be working to find a D&D AL coordinator. Both will be present at MACE West this year. IN fact, the PFS/SFS schedule is already on the schedule!!
For those that wish to propose scheduled events for MACE West – RPGs, board games, cards games and the like – the best way to do that is through OGRe. Go to ogre.justusproductions.com. Log in (Make an account if you don’t have one. If you were a GM for us at any point in time since 2006, you more than likely have an account.). Click Propose Event on the left menu. Three 4-hour sessions or 12 hours of gaming gets you in free, with fewer getting you a discount. See our discount policy on our web site at justusproductions.com for information on the discounts.
Please note that until Jan 25, the instance of OGRe defaults to mini-mace. You will have to change the con in the proposal to MACE West for the proposal to be associated to the correct event!
If you prefer to email me, please include as much information about your event as possible. It is sort of a hassle to go back and forth with questions with so many GMs. Include game name and any link that will explain the game and/or provide the description, especially if it is a obscure game. Also include schedule preferences keeping in mind our standard 4 hr slot schedule (although you are not limited to that schedule).
Contact if you have any business or money questions, or vendor room questions. Anything gaming schedule or room layout related, ask me. Thanks again for all you have done in the past and I hope we can work together again.
Running Emberbright, the official MACE living campaign
If you would like to get involved in running the official MACE living campaign, Emberbright, please let me know. Matt Holmquist is the lead writer behind this fantasy setting, created in contest a few years back. You can contact to get a full rundown on the setting, but in general it is a dark fantasy with some steampunk elements as well as post-apocalypse elements. It can be run in Pathfinder, D&D 5e and with a little work, Savage Worlds. He has adventures and characters.
We are also seeking anyone willing to run Adventures in Filbar. See information on that here.
